I work with staged objects as quiet set-ups. Objects that are normally functional are halted, fixed, opened, or conserved. I am interested in the moment when an object loses its task and becomes a body – vulnerable, contradictory, controlled.
The interventions are precise and visible: cut, seam, wrapping, tension, block. The photographs are not
narrative; they describe states. Formal reduction, serial consistency, and distance are not aesthetic choices but structural requirements.
The works do not explain. They establish.
